Need to prevent homelessness for me and my family
I've been struggling a lot lately, and it's just gotten harder.
I face homelessness at the end of the month, a grim reality due to a catastrophic chain of events.
My husband was laid off his job for a week, that damaged our income, not to mention that I can't drive anymore, and I have suffered a deep pay cut as a result.
Our lives have been threatened where we're currently living, we gave our notice, and our lease is terminated as of September 1st.
We were forced to give up our deposit money for our new home in order to keep our current landlord off our butts, we really needed that for the new place.
We had someone who was supposed to move in with us, but she screwed up and wound up moving elsewhere, and a second roommate decided she didn't want to move either.
So now, we're finding it hard to rent out the rooms in order to come up with what we need, and I'm at wits end since no one wants to move to our location, despite how nice it is. It's too far out for people it seems.
All I'm asking is for people to donate $5 each, every little bit helps.
We have older pets, we can't rehome them as it wouldn't be fair, nor would they survive being bounced from place to place.
Please help me out, if I wind up on the street, I will lose the job that I have, and I can't afford that.
